Locaλ lounge cafe bar
A live one-page site for a specialty café in Crete – the coffee pours as you scroll, in a film drawn frame by frame, in Greek and English.
The challenge
Independent cafés compete with chains that have big brand budgets, and most café websites are a menu PDF and a map. Locaλ wanted a site that feels like walking in: warm, slow and a little special.
What we built
A scroll-driven film: an AI-generated coffee pour split into frames and painted to a canvas as you scroll – the shot drips, the espresso pours, the milk goes in and the latte art appears, with the café's story told in time with the pour. It finishes with opening hours, the address with a map link, phone and Instagram, in Greek and English.
The result
A memorable, share-worthy site that feels like the café itself – live at local-cafe.gr and built at small-business cost.
